"SET UID " not set for oracle executable ? 2004-08-10 - By Prem Khanna J
Thanks Mladen / Mark.
does it mean that root.sh has not been run ?!
if SET-UID is not set , oracle executable does
not have the permission to write to DBF files ( as
a metalink note says ) .
But i wonder , how it was working so far ( almost
for 3-4 months ) . i face the problem since yesterday
only . couldn 't get the reason why ? And why with
that one particular file ONLY ?!!
Can someone enlighen me .
Thanks and Regards,
Prem.
